Triton - a career finding service
From our past experiences, we found the process of choosing a career path while in school to be overwhelming. It is difficult for students to make a link between their skills and the skills required for different jobs. With our app, users can input their skills, hobbies and favorite subjects and with the click of the button they will be matched with their most suitable job title.
In Action
This application was built using React as a Javascript framework. Much of the code was written in JSX, allowing us to integrate HTML into our JS files. Firebase was used as a platform for our database and hosting our site online. The actual functionalities of the site rely heavily on event handling functions that I wrote in JS.
